Jean Yves Mitton original drawing cover Kiwi 278 Blek le Roc Ed LUG
The Lyon-based publishing house Lug published the entirety of Blek's adventures just one year after its release in Italy. The series was first published in small format, then reissued in color in 1963 in a bi-monthly magazine dedicated to its name: Blek. Many covers were created by Jean Frisano. When the original stories ran out, new stories were created by Carlo Cedroni, Nicola Del Principe, and in France by Jean-Yves Mitton. The iconic cover theme of issue 278 of the Kiwi series was reused for this reissue, signed by Jean Yves Mitton. Sent with a rigid cardboard in registered mail.
