Notably, two panels are missing from the board. Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, began his career in comics in 1976. He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux").
In 1979, he created "The Bloody Garden" based on a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, and then as an album with Dargaud. He then produced "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi. Starting in 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's illustrator, focused on adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine." He illustrated works by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carroll, Balzac, Faulkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, and others.
