PAINTER - SCULPTOR - ENGRAVER. Creator of bindings, jewelry, decorative art objects, Victor Prouvé is one of the greatest artists of the Art Nouveau School of Nancy.

A precious collaborator of Louis Majorelle and Émile Gallé, he became president of the School of Nancy upon the death of the latter in 1904. In the image of one of his most famous decorations, entitled "The joy of living," his works celebrate happiness, sensuality, and family life. His son was the architect Jean Prouvé.
