The Young Girl and the Gentleman: Windsurfing. Original drawing in Chinese ink with highlights in blue pencil. On Bristol board measuring 25 x 32 cm. Editorial annotations on the edge of the drawing. Very good condition, some slight dirt and surface defects on the page edge. This is indeed the original drawing and not a reproduction. Guy VALLS was a caricaturist active in the 1950s/1970s, his lightly humorous drawings were regularly published in national newspapers (notably France Dimanche) and magazines of the time.
