Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, began his career in comics in 1976. He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux").In 1979, he created "The Bloody Garden" based on a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, later published as an album by Dargaud. He then created "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi. Starting in 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's illustrator, dedicated himself to adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine.
