Maurice Toussaint (born September 5, 1882 in Fontenay-aux-Roses near Paris - Lyon died Dec. 3, 1974) is a painter, french cartoonist and illustrator. He is the son of the painter and printmaker Henri Toussaint. He gained a reputation for his mastery of the subjects militaria. He illustrated including many books on the French army under the old regime, and the Napoleonic armies.
