Colonel X original comic strip artwork by Christian Mathelot, Marijac, Coq Hardi

  

Illustrator and comic strip artist. He worked mainly with the publisher and writer MARIJAC. He drew "Colonel X", "War on Earth", "Lili, Air Hostess", and "The Orphan Girl from the Circus" for the magazines "Coq Hardi", "Mireille", "Frimousse", and "Samedi Jeunesse". His artwork, influenced by Alex RAYMOND, is admirable.

Original ink drawing on thin paper. This comic, with a script by MARIJAC, was published in the weekly Coq Hardi around 1950.

Signed in the last panel (signature in gouache). Size: 38.7 x 31.5 cm. Tears on the edges (see photos). Hand delivery possible in Paris 9th arrondissement.
