ARTWORK DETAILS
At the bottom left of the drawing.
India ink on heavy paper.
Artwork dimensions: 19.5 x 27 cm.
Following Artima’s working methods, the artist composed the science-fiction scene around the pre-printed official “MÉTÉOR” title banner. The portrait medallion in the upper right was deliberately left blank or roughly sketched, pending the final coloring stage.
The original inked artwork includes the episode title, “The Lambda Ray.”
The original handwritten annotations provided essential instructions for the printer, including the color artwork dimensions: “17.5 x 23 cm,” as well as lettering instructions for the banner.
Giordan’s linework remains exceptionally crisp. Normal signs of handling during the printing process are present, including period adhesive tape and pencil notes. Please examine the detailed photos carefully to assess the document’s exact condition.
Professionally packed with heavy-duty protection and rigid reinforcement to keep the artwork flat and fully protected during transit. Tracked shipping with appropriate insurance included.
