Original comic strip signed by G. Victor Mousselet, known as G. Ri, was a French illustrator born in 1853 in Nantes and active in the illustrated press and comics of the early 20th century. Trained as a military draughtsman, he also pursued a prolific career in magazines, where he developed stories combining humor, adventure, and imagination.
What makes him distinctive is his role as a pioneer of science-fiction comics, creating fantastical worlds as early as the 1900s, filled with inventions, extraordinary journeys, and imaginary worlds, well before the genre became established.
