Subject: 10 workboards, representing the complete story, "Uncle Scrooge and the Golden Geese", for publication in the collection "3 Nephews in Gold: Huey, Dewey, Louie", Large hardcover albums, Le Livre de Paris/Hachette, scheduled for release in the 4th quarter of 1978. The story is illustrated over 10 pages, with a maximum of 6 panels per page and 3 vignettes per panel.

Bromides are nearly ready for printing. In the vignettes, there is inactive blue, numbers representing the vignette number, totaling 160. There are paper overlays that can be felt when touched for drawings and dialogues.

Annotations on certain pages, notably "To reduce, width 220 mm." There are also annotated indications for onomatopoeia, such as "Flouflop", "Crack", "Flop"... Story: Scrooge discovers on the beach with Donald and his nephews a chest containing the logbook of an old sunken ship and a golden feather, then among the geese he bought, he finds one in gold that seems to come from an island mentioned in the logbook. Condition: In very good preservation. Boards numbered from I to XI.

On the first board, there are some signs of humidity, but without consequence on the drawn panels. At the bottom of the first board, the inscription WUS #139 is noted.

This is the code for the story, created by Carl Barks, first published in August 1963. Then, JM 739 is noted, indicating that this story was published in Mickey's Journal No. 739, dated July 24, 1966, titled "Uncle Scrooge and the Golden Geese". Here, at the top of the first board, the provisional title is "On the Trail of the Golden Geese". Dimensions of the board: Width: approximately 32.5 cm (12.68).
