For sale: a preliminary lettering board from the editorial work surrounding the story "The Smurf Painting," published in the album "The Smurf Baby" (Volume 12 of The Smurfs), by Peyo (Pierre Culliford) and Yvan Delporte. This rare layout contains original handwritten dialogues tested during the pre-lettering phase. A non-definitive version of the script, never published in its current form.

Notably, it includes an unpublished and humorous line from Grumpy Smurf: "I don't like quails! And I don't like fries! This type of document served as a support for letterers before the final inking and printing. It is therefore a true witness to the creative process of classic Franco-Belgian comics.
