This is the original board number 1 of the comic "The Forgotten Pyramid" published in issue number five of Circus. This board does not appear in the original comic strip, the last panel is detached and reveals an earlier panel that has never been published. These two panels need to be reattached to the page, the title in the top left corner is missing, but Winninger's name appears. Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, started his career in comics in 1976. He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux").
In 1979, he created "The Bloody Garden" based on a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, and later in album format with Dargaud. He then worked on "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi. From 1987 onwards, Wininger, who is also a children's book illustrator, focused on adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine". He illustrated novels by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carroll, Balzac, Faulkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, and others.
