This is the original board number 1 of B. The forgotten pyramid appeared in Circus number five, this board does not appear in the original comic strip, the last panel is detached and reveals an earlier panel that has never been published. These two panels need to be glued back on the page, the title in the top left is missing, but Winninger's name appears. Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, started in comics in 1976.
He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux"). In 1979, he created "Le Jardin Sanglant" with a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, then in an album at Dargaud. He then created "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi. From 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's book illustrator, focused on adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine".
He illustrated novels by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carrol, Balzac, Falkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, etc.
