Very Beautiful Original Board 1978 Pierre De Winninger The Forgotten Pyramid Drawing

  
This is the original plate number 1 of "La Pyramide Oubliée," published in Circus number five. This plate does not appear in the original comic; the last panel has come unstuck and reveals a previous panel that has never been published. These two panels need to be reattached to the page. The title in the upper left is missing, but the name Winninger appears.

Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, began his career in comics in 1976. He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux"). In 1979, he created "Le Jardin Sanglant" based on a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, later released as an album by Dargaud. He then created "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi.

Starting in 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's illustrator, dedicated himself to adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine." He illustrated works by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carroll, Balzac, Faulkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, and more.
