This is the original plate number 1 of B. The Forgotten Pyramid published in Circus number five; this plate does not appear in the original comic, and the last panel is detached, revealing a previous panel that has never been published. These two panels need to be reattached to the page, the title in the upper left is missing, but the name Winninger appears. Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, began his career in comics in 1976.
He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux"). In 1979, he created "The Bloody Garden" based on a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, then as an album with Dargaud. He then produced "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi. Starting in 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's illustrator, dedicated himself to adapting numerous novels for "Je Bouquine." He illustrated novels by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carroll, Balzac, Faulkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, etc.
