10 Original Plates in Ink Foreign Legion, 1943, Boudu
10 original boards in ink with pencil fill-ins, tracing the journey of a volunteer engaged in the Foreign Legion. According to my research, this could take place in Sidi-Bel-Abbés in Algeria, as it is mentioned in the 6th board CP3, which were the Reformables of this regiment, as seen. A modest Italian-style collection, 115x190 mm, the boards are all front sides, sometimes leaving marks on the back sides (see photographs). On the bumper of the first board, one can guess the date of 1943, a plausible date for this collection, and the signature of the artist would be BOUDU, whether it's a real name or a pseudonym.
