Humorous cartoonist, creator of Épinal images and illustrated stories. He was active between 1891 and 1936. He worked for illustrated newspapers: "la caricature," "les belles images," "la gaudriole," "le pêle-mêle," "pages folles".. THE DRAWINGS: "Pour la couronne," set of 5 original sheets for a story in images (ancestor of comics).
Signed on the last sheet. Format of each sheet: 16 x 31.2 cm.
