Note that two panels are missing in the board. Pierre Wininger, born in 1950, started in comics in 1976. He published in Charlie Hebdo and Circus ("Victor Billetdoux").
In 1979, he created "The Bloody Garden" from a script by Henri Filippini for Pilote, then in album format at Dargaud. He then created "Nicéphore Vaucanson" for Okapi.
From 1987, Wininger, who is also a children's book illustrator, focused on adapting many novels for "Je Bouquine". He illustrated novels by Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Calvino, Carroll, Balzac, Faulkner, Shelley, Stevenson, Saint-Exupéry, Du Maurier, Charlotte Brontë, etc.
