Clean image, no bend, and no tear. It was done on the regular scratchboard [ink overlay on clay and paper].

There are some very minor accidental scratches in unobtrusive area [nearly invisible] as shown by the detailed photo. Scratchboard art is created by scratching [with engraving tools] through a layer of black ink covered clay [thus expose the white line]. Very fine lines and striking contrast can be created. It requires high skill and patient. This original scratchboard art depicting a bald eagle and a bass in real life action was done by Kathleen Yates [a well known northern Kentucky artist] in [or before] 1979.
